Baby Love ~ Eva
This past weekend I had a chance to hang out with my best friend and do the first part of a newborn photo shoot for her daughter Eva. As a mom myself I can tell you first hand that having a child means to know what true and unconditional love is all about and Beth has found that in spades... watching my friend and her new daughter go through the motions of life, feedings, bath time, naps that are just a bit too short after nights that are just a bit too long, I can tell you that she has found her stride as a mother.
Beth handles all the challenges of new motherhood with grace and good nature, she is giving to a fault and fiercely loving of her new family... congratulations Beth and Mooch, wee Eva is a darlin' and is so loved by so many already.
I love you my dearest friend - thank you for the honour of naming me an "Auntie" to your beautiful baby girl, can't wait to be a part of her journey growing up.

AWE!!!!!! The pictures are so great honey!!!! and Thank You for your kind words. Bath time has always been my favorite thing in the world (and the feeling of the "after bath" is a close 2nd to my fav things). you've captured my daughter doing what I love the most....bath time...and now, being a momma. She is amazingly lucky to have you in her life, as I am. lots of love your way from both of us. Auntie Mickie better get a handle on the spoiling thing tho......lol.....
ReplyDeleteThanks hon, I'm so thrilled you like the pictures. No deal on the "not spoiling thing", I reserve the right to spoil her with love and time and attention (and sometimes gifts lol). Big squishy hugs my friend xo
ReplyDeleteHI Mickie
ReplyDeleteThanks for following me on Pinterest, because it brought me here to your blog. Wow!!! Fantastic photos. I love posting photos in my blog, so you have become a great inspiration!!! Oh, I wish I studied photography in school instead of blah blah blah boring economics/commerce. I am a designer now, so clearly studying that in school must have meant I was dropped on my head as a baby...and chose a weird school path.
Keep up the FANTASTIC work, I just adore it !!!
Happy blogging
Lynne xx
Hi Lynne,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind words - you made my day! I didn't study photography in school either, mine was business/marketing but photography is my first love and I've realized that if you are really passionate, anything is possible :)
I'm a huge fan of yours too, have followed you on twitter for a while now and was tickled to see you on Pinterest - your Paris images lately have me longing for such a trip in my life! Love your blog too btw - you make me laugh and inspire me to dream bigger!
Look forward to connecting with you again
Cheers!
Mickie
Awwwwwh shucks, really Mickie ?! I had no idea that you have watched (errrh, stalked....hahaha) me on twitter, pinterest and my blog. Jokes. Jokes. I am so happy that you have, I really appreciate it !
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see more of you ....through all of those same stalking avenues. LOL.
Big hugs..
I am off to enjoy your photography some more. It is a beautifully relaxing read and eye candy feast.
xx
Thanks Lynne, I'm blushing now ;) and appreciate you being here. Funny how we can "connect" in so many ways (errr stalk lol) with so many folks, I'm in awe of how big the world is and how small it becomes when we connect. See you on twitter (@M_E_Photography in case you were wondering lol)
ReplyDeleteHope your day is filled with love and joy,
Mickie
